Vegas (Same for Humble) changed quite a bit around here.. I know I'll never look at a car and assume its slow any more.. You just never know around here...

I want to see some decent swaps. Actual engine building and tuning is whats important in a shop. Not dropping in an already built engine.

True, but some people around here have NO mechanical ability. One of my friends went up there to get a quote on a motor swap. LS into a VX Civic and Vegas told him it would cost $1000 to put the motor in, and he would keep the old engine... For something that nearly bolts right in.

I'm the kind of person where I would rather do something than pay someone else to do it (unless I cannot do it). I'm not bashing CSE or anything, I'm just stating my opinion. I personally won't go there because those guys are cocky as hell. I don't even like talking to cocky people, let alone pay them to work on my car.

But it should be hitting high 10's in the 1000' and high 12's in the 1/4 (Yes, for $2000 including the price of the car) and what do you consider fairly quick? and judging by your statement, he is in the process of building a car? But if it is a true shop, why has he not built any fast cars even for other people?

i never stated that my car was fast..but you can guarantee that i have the respect..i was just simply stating that if you want to talk shit about something you know nothing about then shut up or go home..even if you have a fast car and you are nothing but rice and an asshole then you have no respect and thus you are nothing..all you have to know about CSE is you will see what fast means..they have only been open for a short time and have done plenty..we have the respect to let the person that has the vehicle show you punks what's up not just talk about it..because talk is cheap and apparantly that is what most people do and have nothing to back it up..

It not in my pocket book or time's best interest to take it to mokan. For these reasons:
1. C'ville is 50min away compared to Mokan's 4hrs (tulsa is about 3 any way)
2. I would be turned away for not passing tech (remote battery w/ no kill switch among other things)
3. Gas to get up there is Alot more compared to c'ville.

Just because we have faith in a shop and have faith in their craftsmanship does not merit having a comment like "having our heads up CSE's asses" thrown at our face..

We have CSE, Pro Imports, Macon Motorsports, Show N' Go and not so much locally but still around is Humble Performance..

My main concern with this thread is.. It has turned more from a seeking of information into a fucking pissing contest.

No disrespect to anyone who questions my ability, but things sometimes take a little bit longer than 3 months and the cars I do have to show aren't done yet..

We are building cars that are faster than 13-14 second cars.. If anyone knows anything about racing, they know it takes money to go fast.. I would rather do quality work than to slap my shit together just to prove a point.. This is why I have the reputation I have.

In time things will prove themselves...

As for the people with CSE stickers, is it wrong to have people believe in something? ..There is finally something for people to be involved in and be united with.

CSE is for the unity of anybody that wants to be involved in what we want to do. And vinyl is not going to make anyone go faster or slower, the vinyl is for people who want to support CSE.

Yes, wonderful.. so other than the CRX with two sets of wheels on it, are there other types of cars CSE has worked on?. I am not flaming Im asking a very civil question. I do not live in NWA, so I am trying to learn something about said company.

That picture was from 2003, the car has changed quite a bit now.

CSE has worked on quite a few cars, but the ones I remember the most were a 1G Eclipse, Integra, Civic hatch, Civic, oh yeah the Lexus IS300.. Quite a few cars. But, as Vegas said, time will show their work.. They are a fairly new shop, as has been said before. ^_^

No one ever said "grow some balls and call them" namely me. My attempts to get Drew to call were for the simple fact of, if you call VEGAS you will get a more accurate view of what types of work CSE does and what they have done. Getting your information straight from the source is better than getting it from someone who will just make assumptions (Namely me.). Ask the person who does the work, deals with the customers and lives the life. THIS is why I suggested calling Vegas. It was never an attempt to tell Drew to "grow some balls." ...It was so that Drew would get CORRECT information, instead of my biased memory.

I believe, the reason this turned into an issue was the way that Drew kept asking. Questioning the validity of the shop with the statement...

3. No information relating to the cars being built will be released. They are being built for customers and this is how the customers want it.

4. No predictions will be made as to how fast these cars will be. In all honesty we won't know for sure until we pick up the slip from the timing booth.

thank you laughinxxx that is all i wanted to hear. I have never seen this shop, nor do I even know where it is. I go to school up here and I hang out in either Hot Springs, Fort Smith, or Little Rock on my spare time so I know nothing about shops up here. My initial intent was to find out if they have built fast cars and you have given me enough info to satisfy that. My secondary attempt was to start shit and talk smack, because I don't see enough of it on here, twas fun in the battle guys. Hope to meet yet again. :)
