I not going to be able to go because while at the Z car convention a group of us went to the strip in KC. I had a set of bearings seize up in the supercharger and the car is running like pure crap. :angry: I don't want to cause any more damage so I am driving it on a very limited basis. i wanted to go and planned on having the rims by then but that fell through and money won't be in till this week plus thursday i came down with a bad cold and the last two nights working made it hit hardcore so i got off this morning and felt like shit besides that i have only had 2 hours of sleep in the last two days so i decided to sit this one out and try and get better. hey i got a nice car and don't want to lose it cause i got sick one two many times so if all goes well i will be at the bbq and at centerville the 2nd and at mokan the 30th so see you all at those events.

glad to hear everyone had a good time...while u guys, and gals, were at Mokan. i went to centerville Saturday night to run my car, and I did pretty well... Took 2nd place in the import class. i lost by .06 of a seconds to a very built crx with nitrous. i also got to see some of the imports that will be there oct 2nd for the import shoot out at cville. if any of you know neil gerock, think that is how you spell his last name, you know the guy builds a pretty nice car. well he has outdone himself now with a turbo 2.0 liter mustang that will run in the import class. on the dyno the car pulled 456hp to rear wheels and has more in it. he ran an 8.77 in the 1000ft on his 3rd pass. oct 2nd will be a blast. hope to see you all there! :)

cant beat neal, he's still not tuned, he's got another 2 seconds coming his way, lol

neal is my new favorite "unlce", he's the domestic turbo 4 banger god

his daily driver is a mid 12 sec duster, he has an 11 sec merkur (150direct shot + 15psi on stock 100k mile bottom end), and this mustang is not even close to its potential

ya when he get's back to the dyno that car is going to be unreal! mr. merk didn't u buy neal's daughters car? he said he knew you. oh and get this that 8.77 that he ripped of he was struggling with traction off the line and lifted off the throttle since his egt gauge flashed at him. that's with huge slicks on that bad boy! if he get's it tuned and to hook up i am guessing an easy 6 sec. pass. the only way we are going to beat him is if he red lights. keep in mind this was at CENTERVILLE, so we are talking a 1000 ft., but none the less that is fast. i have some pics of it, but i am not sure if they came out. i'll try to post them sometime soon.

(centerville). i took 2nd, but it was the best race i had ever had. it was unbelievably close. if we raced again it could have gone either way for the win. alot of fun :lol:

yah i bought his daughters merk but i am now selling it to rich (another merkur extremist)
