just wanted to let everyone know chad (aka abrasive) has got a new clutch and just wanted to fill everyone in on the install.

day 1: dropped the tranny after disconnecting all the goodies (battery, lines, etc etc, you know the same old stuff.) dropped the tranny at around 11:50 thursday night. (pics soon to come, getting out the camera tomorrow so :worthless: )
day 2: (hopefully a 2 day project ha ha) install of clutch and new pressure plate and reinstall of tranny. should go by fast and get r done fast.

i loved how the manual said there were 5 bolts holding the tranny to the block...well 5 turned into 14. along with 3 mounts, and spending a few hours getting the left subframe out.

btw, on one nut, we managed to split a 6 point Snap-On socket, 120psi on a impact wouldn't get it off(with an impact socket) but amazingly an emergency trip to wal-mart for a stanley socket broke it loose, along with 5-6 other nuts/bolts the impact couldn't get off. maybe the gun was fucked up, i don't care now.

i pulled the pressure plate/clutch/flywheel after you left deric; the clutch is in pretty bad shape, lol.

update: it pulls harder now with half throttle than it did at wide open before. i've only tried this in 2nd and 3rd because the torque is too crazy in 1st and i don't wanna take a chance at messing something up.

i'm happy now. :victory:
