PICTURE ATTACHMENTS:

It has come to my knowledge that the host server will no longer allow images and other static content to be kept in the CGI server, because of Bandwidth limitations and security issues. These include but not limited to: Uploading of Photos from your computer to the Forum . You can still link Photos via HTTP:// tag and IMG Tag.
CGI Stands for "Common Gateway Interface." CGI is a set of rules for running scripts or programs on a Web server, namely this forum.
If you wish to post a photo from your computer, Please Email it to us at NWAIMPORTS@Yahoo.com, PM either TRIEPSYN (http://www.nwaimports.com/forums/index.php?showuser=2) or BDP (http://www.nwaimports.com/forums/index.php?showuser=3) about it and we will put it on our server and give you the link. :thumbup:

NWS SECTION:
As of 2/26/04 - The NWS section is no longer hidden but now contains an agreement you must agree to prior to entering. It is still located at the link below.
The Not Work Safe Section of the forum is now hidden to keep underage viewers from seeing pornographic content. The Link is located in Randomly Speaking .

COLORS:
ADMIN's user names on the viewing forum section will now be RED, Moderators will Be BLUE and members will remain Black
PM's:
Private Messages will now show up red. When you recieve a message, it will say 1 new message for easier viewing
A Green Dot http://www.nwaimports.com/forums/html/emoticons/ibonline.gif has been Added to the forum on the MAIN INDEX beside each member's name. This is a direct link to their PM. Instead of searching for the user and looking for a PM Button, you can just click the GREEN DOT and PM them instantly. Anyone feel this isnt important enough or too gawdy?

When a member is having a B-Day and their name is displayed in the "Todays B-Days" section in the Main Index, If you click the Green dot - it will not add that persons name in the PM. So in other Words, YOU CAN ONLY USE THE GREEN DOT IN THE "ACTIVE USERS" list. If you dont understand what I mean, it isnt important anyway :D Just Pm me or something.
CHAT:
Chat Scripts have been modified to allow users to Automatically Log out. YAY!!!

5/22/04 Chat Update:Recently added to certain forum pages is a small box at the top of the screen that will display who is in the chat room. Hope that helps some guys :thumbup:
7/16/04 NEW Chat Update:Just added a new chat program to our database. This one is SWF Flash based that is more stable and autodetects the members via their cookies so you dont have to log in to it anymore. Info can be found at the above link.

NWAIMPORTS SERVER SWITCH:
NWAImports Website and Forum both recieved a new host. Our old host, Activewebhosting had many server issues that they were working out and it just wasnt working out with us. Due to long delays and many problems with the forum, we were forced to find hosting elsewhere and a good friend and host of Performanceprobe.com was happy to donate to our cause.
Because of this Switch, we are now allowed to let our members utilize the "Upload" feature, so feel free to try it out!

Gallery Upload:
We have now implemented an upload feature on the main site for members wanting to have their ride featured in the gallery section! No longer do you have to sit and attach each file to an email and email us. You may now upload directly from your computer on to the NWAImports.com website!

We have now implemented a Spell Check feature on the forum for members You can find it at the bottom of your post. There are user settings where you can select how you want the check to perform.

Shoutbox Update:]
The shoutbox, via member requests, now requires a post count of 25 or more before allowing any member access to post a shout. This was thought up by members for everyones' benifit.

JukeBox Installed:
For all you 'bored with your own music' members, we now have a JukeBox with various music genres for your listening pleasure. Just look on the navigation bar for the JukeBox link. Uses Javascript and some Flash

Report Post Feature:
This doesnt really apply 100% to the members but mainly to the Mods and Admin. We now have a section where all the "reported Posts" go instead of just having it emailed to an Admin. Now any moderator or administrator can get back with you on a problem you may have with a post or thread rather than waiting on an Administrator to Email you back.
Just helping out our members the best we can!

Ignore User Function Installed:
The Ignore User fuction can be used on any member except Admin and Moderators. Once a member is "Ignored" you will see special Text in place of their normal post letting you know they've posted.
