Hello, I dont get alot of time to check out these forums lately, but I will introduce myself in here since some people wont leave me alone :lol: Just playin

83 5.0 T-tops, 302 4bbl Holley, T-5 tranny (the 18th or 20th one installed), stock posi rear-end.
Car just got some hail damage last storm we had so the value has decreased some, but it isnt for sale.
I need yet another tranny, 1st gear is gone and dont wanna get another T-5.

calm down bubba, the stang is far from magazine worthy, it needs a whole lot of cosmetics and surgery especially to the interior. It just looks cool and goes fast so everyone loves it. Eventually when/if I restore it - then it will be magazine worthy but that will have to be way after college 5 or 6 years from now (if I dont have to sell it for school or something).

At least the weather didnt trash my stang as bad as 73stangs did back when that basketball hoop crashed into his windshield - that was a sucky day.

I didnt either till I saw it. It really depresses me that it has hail damage now, but living in rogers with only one car garage doesnt help much. I did speed around town to make it home in time to cover it but almost died in the probe on the way.

The hail storm hit me like 2 minutes from my house and I couldnt see a thing. The hail sounded like hammers hitting the windshield and roof. I can't believe the windshield didnt crack!!! The hail knocked holes in the siding and took off my mustang logo, busted the drivers mirror, tail light, took off paint, and dented up the garage.

I was all over the stang as soon as it stopped but it was too late. Now I have computers all over the house displaying Nat'l Radar images and alerts :D

I'm sure if you look around enough, you can find one or two fairly cheep. At least parts are cheap. A NOS hood for me is like $100-$150 instead of $300 or something. Fenders are the same. Only consern is traction and weather stripping (which isnt cheap).

well i just got mine today it a 88 5.0 it is a hand me down but it runs real well the only thing that has been done to it is flowmaster exaust i need some help picking out what to do next?

gears first for sure then the other stuff we talked about. Depending on what kind of power ur going to put down depeneds on your gears too. Welcome to the club though.

I don't currently have my car anymore but I do plan on getting it back soon. I sold it to a friend last year a few months after I bought my Lightning. I didn't have a place to park it at the time and I knew my buddy would appreciate and take care of the car. Fortunately for me he is going to let me buy it back. Here is a pic of the car and of my truck. Hope you guys will still welcome me since I don't technically own the car anymore.
