sensor replacement

well im going to replace my intake air temperature sensor and my coolant temerature sensor today and most likly put in a 180 degree thermostat. From what I'm told these sensors going bad can make your car run like crap just like mine! So i'll break out the chilton's and see how this goes.

if this doesnt get it i'm going to change the plugs again check the tps along with testing the injectors and change the fuel pump. My car is running about 0.7 seconds slower in the 1/4 than it should be.....anyone know if that injector cleaner stuff that you put in your gas really works?>

they are the same engine :thumbup:

you can afford a merk with 27k miles on it, its a 5spd with heated seats and a sunroof, in bentonville, could prob get it for $2500 or less

it does have a vacuum issue and its not making boost, nothing we cant fix, also needs a boost controller

i was thinking the injectors but if it was them it wont have ran as good as it was for that little bit i dont think. It's like something is resetting my computer to shitty mode

Dude, seriously, why don't you just bring it to a Ford dealer or a good mechanic and tell them to do a check-up on the whole car, It will probably cost you a couple hundred bucks but that's the thing to do especially when you buy used cars.

i had the guys at the dyno run a full diagnostic on it and all they did was replace one of the sensors i just replaced. I'm looking for a 89-93 fox body now. I figure 3-4g's for the car and then have 5'g's for h/c/i/ fuel system bolt ons and gears

mk well it pop sometimes and other times it doesn't. I found a A9L conversion for about $300 but it will be a lil while till i can afford that.
