These "street occurances" happened a few weeks ago, but I'm finally getting some time to be online.
I was on my way to work one evening in our blue 95 Talon ESi when a white 95 Talon ESi decided to try me. A highway sprint on 540 turned into an actual stop light run on 102 in Rogers. He was an easy kill on the 540, our little n/t actually does well top end. From the light we were pretty even through second gear then I pulled from him pretty good once I was in third. His Talon appeared to be stock.
Another time on my to work I was in our Spyder GST and was cruising down the 540 again with the top down when a new 350Z wanted some action. I thought he'd take me for sure on the highway, the tiny T25 likes the low end too much. :rant: We tried it a few times but neither of us could claim a kill, but it was fun just the same.
I was again on my to work on 102 in Rogers when an Acura Vigor thought the Spyder looked tasty. We first did a roll-n-go and thought he'd had enough when we came to a stop light and did it it again. This time I laid off of it when the light turned green then punched it at that sweet spot and blew by him. I slowed down and they pulled along side asking if it had a turbo. :hmm: Maybe I shoulda told them it didn't, j/k.
Finally, and this was a while ago and definately not a kill on my side, I was on my home this time on 540 north of Bella Vista when an Oldsmobile Aurora pulled away from me in the n/t. To say the least I can't wait to get it boosted.
