I had one on my Isuzu Pickup just like that but the 'tip' was a little different and it was 2.25. It sounded like a tractor at idle, but had a very nice mellow tone all the way through the rpms. No rasp at all. It would sound different on a Honda or a smaller displacement engine than the 2.3l P'up plus different exhaust configuration but....

Is this the same muffler you were telling me about or did you get two??
