Everyone have a safe trip today and all. I just looked at my weather computer and it looks all clear as of now. There is a small group of scattered showers heading towards Fayetteville/Sprindgale (they are on the OK Panhandle) but they have been traveling from Cali overnight since 11pm yestarday and appear to be breaking up anyhow, so if anything goes down at Mo-Kan, it will be just scattered or sprinkles for sure.

I had an awesome time there. It was my very first time at a track and my first time to race on a track. My first time was 16.2 @ 60 mph. I had no idea which line the finish line was and the guy I was up against had no idea either so we both had slow times and mph's. My best run of the day was 14.8 @ 93 mph. My reaction times sucked all day long, my best being 1.0 second. I gotta work on that so I can get better 1/4 times. I had a great time though and I'm definitely going again next time.

Joe, I can't figure out how you could launch your car better!! Its bugging the crap out of me! I'm still thinking rev the crap out of it at launch but be using slicks :D. Or if we could get the turbo to spool up a little sooner and launch right at the rpms where the turbo starts to spool and just go half throttle or so after you start. I don't think you could pedal it too much and get a good result...

First of all you reaction doesnt affect your 1/4 mile time, most all people assume that tho, i did. On another note, i ran terrible at the track but figured out why not too long after i left, dont care to much tho, i had fun and had an absolute blast racing on the street fri. night. I love Don's car now, it takes a little while before it really comes to life, but he would just go up in smoke if laying in it any sooner, just absolutely comes to life. I think even with nos working decent it would come down to the start. I was disappointed with 3rdgen for a while, wasnt running good at all either for a while but i knew what his was capable of cause we laid in it one day on the bypass and with my 1/4 mile time and trap speed back then i knew he could do a low 13 sec pass on a real track. On the last race i seen him hit a mid 13 with a real decent trap speed finally which i want to congratulate him personally as i know how much hes improved on his driving although he may give credit totally on just the car. Awsome dude. I would comment on more people but dont have to much experience on how they normally run. Mokan had alot of technical difficulties, made me a little mad but hats off to them for toughing it out with all the inexperienced workers they still pulled it off.

Just wanted to put up a couple of things. Love the new power in the Snake. Best time yesterday was a 12.74 @ 112.02. I ran about a 112 average all day. Now for the bad news. I posted the info on the SVTPerformance board and the guys came back and said that with my mods, I should be running minimum 116mph. ET is not dependant on MPH. They said I should stop speed shifting and start power shifting. My 60' times really sucked. There are guys with the same mods as me running into the 11s that is where I am hoping to get. Shift light is on the way, drag radials soon to follow. Don't get me wrong, I am really happy with the car, not many ppl can say that have a 12 sec car for a daily driver :clap: , but with all the money I spent on mods, I want to get everything out of it I can.

I know if I improved my 60' times my ET will be much lower. around 13.2 or so. 2.3 60ft time is horrible. My only great launch of the night came when I did the bracket race and i slowed down a lot at the finish line. 13.6 @96 or so. that was with a 2.1 60ft time. If I would have kept in it I know I would have gotten at least a 13.4.

On a side not my car is running shitty as of now. I hope it is an ignition problem. The car shakes at idle. That points toward a blown motor but at the sime time the vacume I pull at idle is good. The car cranks up fine. I didnt feel the same amount of power I had on the street the day before but it was close.

There is always a next time though to run it.

Oh and James good luck on getting your car to were it should be at. I know its capable of much lower ET then what you ran last night. My times did have some to do with the driver. I think I was shifter a lot faster then I was last time. I was more confident in my 2nd to 3rd shift which I had never been confident in before and had always took it slow.

I know I'm a little late coming to this site, but it's good to be here.

Anyway, I'm Craig and I'm the reason things didn't go so smooth at the last event. I was sick and when I'm not there, well you saw what happens.

call summit and order that way and tell them what you want. I got my bolts came with my long tubes.
