Anybody willing to pull a head unit out of the Scarab (Pioneer removeable faceplate unit)?

Shouldn't take 20 minutes for somebody that knows what they're doing.

Willing to pay $20 in south Rogers off Pleasant Grove.

PM me for more details.

Need done ASAP.

removal only should take like 45 seconds.

I would have but I'm still in Indiana.
Did you need the harness removed and everything? I've used zipties once and sheetmetal another time to remove one cause I lost my kenwood tool.

to the left and right of the radio your sappose to insert two "keys" embetween the sleeve and the radio deck , 1 key on each side. you might have to remove the trim ring to see the slots but when you push the keys in there, it releases a locking tab on each side of the radio. then it should slide right out. pretty much the keys are just then strips of metal about 1/4 inch wide and 4 to 5 inchs long and about 1/16 inch thick. unless it used the factory radio brackets to hold it in then its alot more work. if you want you can go to the best buy in rogers and they might have a set of keys for a pioneer. tell them Brian sent you from the fayetteville install bay.

The console is expensive and a pain in the ass to replace, so coat hangers probably would be a bad idea on this job...
