Camaro vs. RSX Type-S

So I was goin to get my allergy shots today and I was just crusin down the road blarin a new set I downloaded (from www.ultramusique.com) and i see this black thing wizz by, had no idea what it was but I knew it was rice cause you could hear the abnoxious fart cannon. So being curious I played catch up. We come to the bottom of the hill and slow to a stop (stoplight) I catch a glance behind him before I stop to find out its an RSX Type-S (no idea on the year here other than "new" heh). So he revs a little and I let my baby have a growl and the light turns green and he stalls. I almost wet myself I was laughing so hard. I looked in my mirror and no one else was behind me so I waited for him at around 10mph. Then I saw him comin at me kinda strong so I let her rip .. He got maybe to my rear wheel when I pulled a few cars on him (mind you we were going UP a hill so my torque kick its ass). not much of a kill but as we get to the top of the hill at another stoplight (this time its flat) we both stopped. I was kinda snickering at him from when he stalled but I figure I'll give him another chance to redeem himself. Light hit green and we both got some squeelage. He got maybe atmost a half a car before I pulled him again. I shut down around 80 and it looked to me like there was 4 cars between us but reguardless he got taken. Then he did one of those stupid ricer fly-by's where I slow to the speed limit (or close to it B) ) and he does about 60 by me ... im like dude, i killed you .. race is over. None the less I like how the car looks ^_^

nice job. and i agree about the slap on performance ricers. stop worrying about looks instead of performance. (a body kit, wing, and muffler doesn't make you fast) also, ricers don't make much torque. they may be making 220 horsepower but they make like 130 ft lbs of torque. turbo charge it if you wanna go fast.

I wouldn't generalize all Hondas. I've seen some fast ones. We might not agree with the commercialization that Civics & Accords get, and how the aftermarket following is marketed solely to them... But sometimes you have to give respect where respect is due. I've seen a couple of fast Hondas, although normally I wouldn't be impressed, mainly because of their exteriors, but the amount of work that goes into a car: Honda or not, speaks for itself sometimes.

I know what you mean about the building stage. I havent had my car for somewhere between 3 and 4 months. Ive owned the couple of v8s ive raced.

Is there anyone on here running high 12's to low 13's that i can run against? Just wanna see the difference when i go from stage 0 to stage 2 and a few other mods. If so give me a call this Sunday if possible or next Sat. night-Sunday.
