Just wondering if anyone else on here is into RC cars/trucks or anything. I know a couple of people that have on and off road cars. I personally have a Jato 3.3 that I run on and off road. Didn't know if anyone else had a car that they messed around with? U know how it is...the more, the merrier!

I used to race them years ago. I still have my Associated T4 truck, and my Associated TC3 car. Both are battery powered. I know there's a group of guys that go race cars out at Lokomotion on Sunday mornings when the weather's nice. I'm looking for a place to run my truck. Anyone know of such a place?

lol.. I just sold off my Monster GT, Jato, And my Associated RC10GT along with all my stuff.. Just got sick of dumping $ into them to keep them going.. I think I'm going to buy a road car soon.. Something that I won't tear up on as bad.. lol..

sorry, havent ever gotten one but do indeed want something R/C... curious, everyone says "Associated" do they not abbreviate that in this world of recent abbreviations?

I would assume "ASS" or "Team Ass" would be a very popular name amongst adolescent youths.

One would suspect that, but they made their own abbreviation to be AE for Associated Electrics. You should check out their site(www.teamassociated.com). Lots of cool stuff there.

I haven't touched them in over a decade.

- P-51D Mustang with a 4-stroke .65
- Stearman Bi-Plane
- Old ARF trainer
- Canard style kit-plane (rear prop)

All nitro. Not sure if they still even run. They kinda got put-up back in '97.

I just use mine for Decorations now, but I have a 350Z Drift RC car and NSX RC car. I have a Corvette RC car somewhere, but it never fit in.

Are these just little cheapies like the ones from radioshack or are they like true hobbyist RC cars?

i have a few cars and trucks and helis. my fav by far is my mini-t. its a full billet and carbon fiber frame every hop up you can get for one. the only stock part is the cover body. it also has a 9600kv brushless system with a 3 bag lipoly bag cell. it will do 60+ mph if you can keep it down :P

assuming its nitro? or is it electric? I have seen electrics that will do 40 out of the box...

The Mini T is Electric. The Brushless system in those is pretty incredible. I've got a Micro-T that I'll be doing the Xcelorin 10250kv brushless. currently running the losi LiPo in it and burnt up oem motor >:) ...We should all meet up on a nice day and run them. Mathias Elementary on 24th (right by the railroad tracks) has a HUUUUUGE field for the offroaders, but no jumps. Also, the old K-mart is lit up very nicely at night...huge open parking lot.

Let me know if anyone is down.

yea the micros with the brushless are supposed to be pretty insane!. I'm actually talking about in Rogers...or wherever, doesn't matter. About 3 hours from NLR. Also, Joe's 4tec would be NASTY with a 3.3, I believe the older ones have smaller chassis than the new 4tec 3.3. Good deal @ $100! ;) Especially since you could buy a new 3.3 and this whole setup for $250...New 4tec 3.3 is $385...with a cheaper radio.

DanGTP: Let me know when you get your stuff!

Hey guys just caught the thread. I use to race quite a bit when I lived in Colorado but seems that no one has a track out here. I have 3 cars myself. A Losi stadium truck, 1/10 scale. Have not ran it in some time I need to though. ALso I have a xxx-4 losi all wheel drive buggy I have it put together just need to get some electronics for it. Also have a mini-T for my daughter. The stock speed control took a dump, so I need to figure out what to do about it. Since it is hers I don't wanna put alot of money into it.
Anyone have the stock speed control for a mini-T that they can part with?
I would pay of course.lol.

Also thought about selling the xxx-4 awd buggy let me know if you are interested. Sell it for 200. Never been driven just put it together in hopes of racing it then I moved down here and no track.
Give me a call if any of the above looks good. CELL 426-4145 Thanks Jeff.

that xxx-4 doesn't happen to be the graphite version does it? Just wondering...Interested in it for my Nephew! what does it need to be RTR? Hobbytown in bentonville is pretty cool. Talk to Jason, he's the manager AND a Losi freak...he can help you get hooked up with anything you need. There is a BMX track in Bentonville that a lot of people run at (so I hear). We went to Joplin last night and it was actually pretty damn cool. Indoor track, Outdoor Track and it's my understanding they have an offroad course but I didn't get to see it.

Jeff - Welcome to Arkansas...And the site. Let me know when you're gonna dust off that S/T. Would be fun. -----Get back to me on that triple X.

I love in Bella Vista. yep it's the graphite one alright. it is all put together and ready for electronics. Let me know how much you want for some of those losi-Mini-T parts. We will need to get together on a nice day. Find a nice central location.
Hey about those drift cars are they pretty cool? I always wondered how hard they are to drive. Thanks Jeff
