Went 2 the dyno today and put down 320hp and 330tq(with the car running lean). After I get my S-AFC 2 hooked up so I can get my fuel prob fixid im going back and tune all the a/f and cam gears and timeing and hopefully I can pull it up over 350. Ill post the results after its fully tuned.

For those who are waiting on me to send them their dyno sheets, the disk containing all the sheets was corrupt that A & E gave me. I dunno what to do.

Ya that was cool I put 220hp down and 225 torque and I top speed of 187 MPH We all need to do something like that again. The Wal-Mart car show is the second week of June if I get more info I'll let everyone know. :shiftingfun:

The walmart car show is June 19th at the Homeoffice I think it starts at 8 or 9 and judging at 12 or 1. Last year there were 170 cars there I won first place with my camaro. Its a blast. B)

After i seen how far off there A/F was i dont think i will go back. Even Macon Motorsports was confirming it.

Need more details ...

How did you get confirmed that their A/F reading were off?

I will just use a scanner. I dont really care about numbers. I've seen people with way more horsepower than me but i can easily beat them. As far as the a/f goes, im blowing out smoke and every run they say it could be a little richer. I turned it down 10lbs and ond my car came back to life. I should have guessed it after they did the same thing to Hendrix and his was running like crap when we left. Good guys, aint saying nothing bad about them, just wasnt accurate on my car.

So in other words, you really can't confirm anything was off. According to their A/F readings my truck was running way lean on the dyno.

I went to my tuner and they installed the chip in one of their truck with exact mods. Sure enough, ROD blowing lean. Got it retuned and thanks to them, I now have a safeŽ tune on my chip.

Either way, be careful making statements without having much proof of anything, this is nothing personal!

As i said it was blowing out smoke=fuel. Hendrix had same problem. You can meet me up at Shake's and i can show you the difference of turning the fuel down 10lbs verses what i did at Mokan a week ago.

You are probably right! Do you remember what your A/F was according to the dyno their readings? I would be interested in that number since they told you that it could be a bit richer ...

Also (which I am sure you know ...) not all smoke = Fuel! ;)

Luckily my car doesnt burn oil, dont jinx me. Dave knew what he was saying when he thought it could be richer, he was guessing what my car should be at in his opinion and i agree with that. I do beleive he knows what hes doing but he couldnt answer the question why it was running rich when the dyno said otherwise. I dont think he will deny something screwy was going on. Im not dissing him at all, one of the nicest people i have met, gave me a much better deal than he should have, just trying to get people to keep an open mind. I hired a guy to come down and help me and shelled out some money for it and argued with him because the scanner and my car was saying rich and the dyno said lean, and i paid for it by ripping out all my electronics trying to figure out what was wrong at Mokan and a simple turn fixed it. I would recommend anyone going to him for problems and maybe the dyno, just dont bet your life on the readings of the a/f.
