I don't know if anyone has used insignia for anything but it is Best Buy's brand and I decided to get one of their subs because my brother in law got one and said they sounded awesome in store... plus it was $60 for a 12".
So I got it all hooked up and it sounds awesome... especially for the price! So if anyone is looking to add a sub to a system for a good price I would reccomend the insignia... 600w RMS and 1800 peak...
lol power acoustic accually makes them.click to see the power acoustic. (http://www.shop.com/FUBAR_SUB12_1800WT_POWFUBAR12W-19595747-p!.shtml?trk=2)
i work at best buy and some one said bestbuy contracted them out to make them. something along those lines. i dont like those subs that much. the bass just sounds muddy. just my opinion.

Dude, DO YOU WANT TO GO INTO MORE DETAIL AS TO WHY HE SHOULD GET THE SERVICE PLAN?
Since the first try didn't work, apparently.

They don't last long.

Clip and/or distort and no sub lasts long.
That doesn't tell us anything.
if it failed prematurely do they not replace them? I've never bought from circuit city or best buy or car mart as I know what things should cost for their function, but if you have to have a service plan to replace a non-tested factory failure then that is crap.
I paid $70 a piece for my 2 HED-Cerwin Vega 15's (200 rms I think) cause I got a good deal :D back in 03. these were the cheapest impulse sub I have every bought but they still sound awesome and I cant even count the number of screws and seals I have blown out with these in 4 different vehicles. These have been used on 3 different 400 - 1200 watt amps and they still work great. Previously I had 2 Memphis audio 15s which both were detroyed in the first year due to a terrible amp and voltage control.
I also bought a head unit that year and still have it but the cd speed control burt out about 2 years after. I think it was a Jensen
